A bit about Kitty

FAMBAM

I am wifey to an amazing man (Yes, I really DO believe in marriage!) and Mum & Step Mum to 2 gorgeous teens. We married when the girls where 7yrs old, and when we announced we were getting married their response was “Yaaayy!! We get to be flower girls!!!” And they did an amazing job, bless em.

BACK THEN

I’ve been taking photos since I first discovered film and darkroom processing back in my high school days. Hanging out listening to loud music waiting for prints to develop. Spent a whole bunch of time taking every possible photography class at Uni, and have since been shooting professionally for nearly 10 years!

IN GENERAL

I don’t mind being a bit of a dag sometimes- getting great photos means not always looking glamorous. High Heels? No. Comfy shoes that I can climb trees in? Yes. Yes please.

MY LOVES

I love photography and being a Newcastle Wedding Photographer, love all of my family, love a bit of camping, swimming, yoga, rock climbing, love eating good food (Lots of it), love coffee, love chocolate. Love meeting new & loved up couples, so maybe we should chat!

Meet My Trusty Sidekick Jade

I’m Jade,
We’re Newcastle Wedding Photographers who love working as a team.
When you book me as your second, you get all my funky little ninja angles of your day, your own fur baby guardian (please bring them to the wedding!), and lots of laughs.

A bit about Jade

MY FAM

I’m mummy to the cutest little fur baby ever, Love of My Life- Ziggy. Yeah ok, my husband Matt is pretty loveable too, but she’s fluffier.

ON THE JOB

I love being a second shooter and the freedom to scope out awesome angles that go well with Kitty’s. I’m pretty fond of a bit of banter and getting some awesome candid shots at preps in the morning, then soaking up all the special moments of the day.

One of my fave moments is the newlyweds walking back up the aisle after all the official stuff is over! Especially when theres flower petals or confetti involved; they always make the happiest, natural shots.

IN GENERAL

I’m a lover of good music, David Bowie is my one true king. I’m pretty fond of a good boogie too, so don’t be surprised when we join you on the dance floor!

I’m also a registered nurse, so if anything goes south on the day I’m handy with a stethoscope, wound dressings and stitches! (Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that)
